Let an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector® inspect it before you even list it. A Move-In Certified® home has been pre-inspected, which means that the seller can confirm that there are no major systems in need of immediate repair or replacement, and no known safety hazards. A Move-In Certified® Seller's Inspection alerts you to any defects or problems with your home so that you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. You can then take the time you need to obtain reasonable repair estimates. Show prospective buyers that you are dealing in good faith. Avoid 11th-hour negotiations and delays and justify your full asking price by having your home pre-inspected now.

Think of an annual home maintenance inspection as a preventative maintenance inspection, or a doctor's checkup for your home. A home maintenance inspection is designed to look for routine maintenance or repairs that may have been missed or any seemingly minor problems with the home that could become major financial or safety issues. The objective of the home maintenance inspection is to keep the systems in your home running smoothly and to save you time and money in the future.

InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® play a vital role in a homeowner’s regular home maintenance plan by performing routine home maintenance inspections.

An Annual Home Maintenance Inspection can save you thousands in the case that any of your systems fail without you knowing. In the unfortunate case that you do have a failing system, an annual inspection can find the failure before it has time to do any permanent danger, saving you thousands in repair bills.

Four point inspections are the tools that insurance underwriters and insurance companies use to determine risk. As you might have guessed, there are four main things that are being examined during a 4-point inspection:

Electrical system,

Plumbing,

Roof and Structural Integrity, and

HVAC system (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).

Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. Let BHI come out during the 11th month and perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires. Our non-invasive inspection is based on observations of the visible and apparent condition of the interior and exterior of the structure, including its major systems and components.

Following your inspection, you will receive a comprehensive report, complete with photos, that includes information on any material defects observed on the date of the inspection. Armed with this information, you can take any necessary steps to hold your builder and his subcontractors to their warranties while they’re still in force.
